Hallo Rhivu! Again a very nice shot of a beautiful bird. In Germany we have a close related bird which is called "Kiebitz" (Lapwing, Vanellus vanellus). His call is "Kie-wit" or "Kie-r-wie" and in my childhood, when this bird was not as rare as now, i heard him everywhere over the meadows. He was something like a character-bird of the landscape in the north of Germany, but is in severe danger now to be extincted by the modern agriculture. I hope your Red-wattled lapwing will have it better! Greetings from Munich! Mathias
