Fine picture.

U had asked Danny Xu about getting to Namche Barwa in Tibet, China. This is what I wrote to him: "In your advice to Aditya Paranjape you have given a very round about way to the base of Namche Barwa and that would include that of Gyala Peri too. The shortest way from India is past Gelling above the point where the Great Bend of the Siang or The Tsangpo has just ended. This was the route first pioneered by Kingdom Ward in 1932 (I think)." Helps?
