Your Fotos are very great! Thank you very much!
Hello and thank you for the kind words! Hard to believe that this spot is under 8' of snow right now..
Beautiful shot! We stop'd there on the way back from the Redwoods but there was big thunderclouds hanging over the lake. Two years ago there was also no blue sky. Close by they had controlled wildfires burning and it looked like there was fog over the lake.
Thanks for the comment!!
my god this must be the most beautiful place in the world at least i think so
yes it is beautiful. But there are millions of equally beautful places around the world. For me crater lake has it's own specail look and feel, but there are other places I like much more.

Was there once, twenty years ago. Remember asking my cousin (the one that got me there) about poles on the side of road. He explained it was so the snow plows knew where the road was. We were there in September.
Back in 2003 I visited Crater lake It was the last week in July They had just opened up the North entrance. As we drove around the Watchman We saw that the snow plows had to dig through 17 feet of snow just to clear it. It was Crazy..

Michael - just enchanting..such a deep sapphire blue. It must be very deep to have such a depth of colour. L&F, Heather.
