I love the photo, I love the title! For a moment I was afraid that you are still having frost, but then I checked the date and feel much better now. Beautiful blue, great contrast, and a lovely composition, it makes a wonderful memory of the winter that is finally gone!
Best wishes, Mira

Mira, Thank you for your lovely comments. I just wanted to get in one last Winter photo before Spring arrives at 4:44 am tomorrow. Although they said that we got 20 inches of snow last Spring!
David, I was pleasantly surprised to open the link to your lovely photo as I saw it just 5 minutes ago following a link from Roger11's gallery. It is simple yet beautiful and a strong reminder that Spring is almost here. Although I don't expect to see any buds here for quite a few more days.
Greetings from America, Leo

Ah Leo, I would say that now it is as important as last year's snow! :) (Do you have such a saying?)
Best wishes, Mira

Thank you for the invitation, David. I have added you to my favorites so I can return to your gallery often.
Even more, I would love to return to France. My wife and I lived in Germany for five years and visited France a few times and loved it very much. We toured Paris on an organized tour then again with friends.
But, probably our favorite visit involved a two-day tour of the chateaux of the Loire Valley. Magnifique!!! I would love to post some of my photos here, but unfortunately I don't think they are up to Panoramio quality.
Talk to you again soon, Leo

Mira, probably "that makes no difference" would come close in meaning. Maybe someone seeing this will come up with a better example.
David, We stayed in a quaint little hotel in Beaugency run by a widow and her son. She was very gracious to let me try to converse in my not-so-good high school French as she spoke no English. I understood her pretty well, but pitied her for having to try to make sense of my ramblings. I may post some photos of chateaux for you to see then delete them.
Best wishes, Leo

I'm not fooled that easy! I know what leather feels like next to the skin, lace too!
This looks more like frost on a twig in bud!

Mike,
I can't get anything past you, can I?!

Mike, what happened to you so suddenly? You have decided that you are not the Mike who writes poetry anymore?! Come on man, think about it... Leather and Lace, that's what I see. ;)

Wonderful vivid icy scene Leo.
I understand you last comment. The Lower Saxony of Germany is not a special area for wine but in my area we have some nice wines too. I like more the sweet wines too. ;-)

Thank you, Micha.
My favorite wines came from a small winery in Osann on the Mosel, Weingut am Rosenberg. It was owned by a very nice man named Arnold Brosch.
Best wishes, Leo

marczu♠,
Thank you for your kind words and the YS. It is so hot here now, I wish we had some of that frost to cool us off!

Lovely macro shot and perfect title Leo. I never really thought of frost looking like lace but indeed it does.

Thank you, John. Like lace, the frost is very light and delicate. With the slightest wind, it is gone.
