Very nice indeed, Spence. The sky is a real gem, and the sagebrush is always a favorite of mine. You've caught some nice color on the tops in it, too. Well done!
Thanks N1W. The sky was very pretty, real windy & dusty, enhacing the sunset. This is another cheat though, where I faded one layer into another, so I could get the lighting how I wanted.
Well, that's our perrogative, being as we spent the bucks on the cameras and whatnot, ey? I still like it a lot. It's an ad shot or a card/calendar, for sure.
Yeah. I guess the way I justify it, is that that is how I remember seeing it in person. When I was looking at the sunset, the sagebrush wasn't all black like the original photo. So I try to make the photo as I see it. I guess with some of the other photos, like those rusty buildings in Ogden, the rust was so prominent, that's what stood out to me, so that's what I wanted to portray to others. And maybe some of it's too obvious, but I like to play & have fun with the photos while I'm taking them & after. Thanks for the comments. I hope you are well.
It all makes sense, Spence. I'm doing well, thanks. We'll cross paths one time here, I'm sure.
It's a bit nippy out to be camping down there yet, isn't it?
Yeah, it was pretty cold. We had a nice fire for 2 nights though. And I had excellent company.
Sounds good. Sounds very good, actually. Life is excellent.
WooW, this is a wonderful sunset!!!! Congratulation!!!!!
