This isn't the best panorama ever, but the weather wasn't great and we had technical problems, so it will have to do till we get back there. We drove up from Sicuani - about three hours S. of Cusco on the Puno road in a rented Toyota Hi-Lux (which broke down on the way back, but that's another story!). Definitely one of the more interesting places I've spent New Year (2002-03). Next time I'm taking my touring skis!
Ian,
Thanks for sharing this photo/place. I was wondering if you know of a map of the area, or, if you could draw one. Must've been a very interesting New Years. Take Care.

Hi - are you the d_shorb on summitpost? Or let me know and alternative means that I can contact you.
Regards,
Ian.
I am. I've begun to look into a Peru, Bolivia, Chile trip, but am only now beginning research.
Best,
Dan
