One interesting thing about waterfalls is the microclimate that is created locally by them. Enough moisture is sprayed around to keep mosses moist much of the year. There is a difference in the plants that grow even a few metres from here, and a variety of greens help to turn even a small patch of ground into a photographer's paradise. indyj@rogers.com
