Bolærne consists of hundreds of small granite islands, close to the town of Tønsberg.

Hi! I admire your photos so much, and your trips even more so! I'm absolutely crazy for all things outdoors and am looking for a new tent suitable for conditions like these, what brand do you use? Thanks! - Charlotte

7summiter: Thanks for enjoying my pics! It is fun showing off Norway to the world. Concering tents, for winter use, I unly have experience with norwegian made tents, which are probably not easy to get outside Norway.. For 3-season use, I really reccomend this one. It is roomy and quite stable: http://www.rutlandoutdoor.com/10213/MSR-Mutha-Hubba-HP-Tent.html. Enjoy the outdoors!

Thanks for the info! I'm sure they're hard to get your hands on, but I'll definitely look into it. I was planning on organizing a trip to Lappland, but Norway really seemed more intriguing all along, plus this way we could kayak as well- plus this definitely seems like much more of a thrill, your documentation of where you are in all of these pics are so helpful, thank you so much!

Depends on where you are based, I suppose. They can almost surely be bought from Norwegian internet shops.
I would surely go for Norway instead of Lappland. Either the western parts of southern Norway, or the coast further north.

Yeah, either way it's not much more trouble for us, since we're in the New York area. And thank god for that, I can never find any equipment I like in stores either way! Where do you usually trek in Norway, the peaks you have photographed are absolutely fantastic!
