The foreboding Pacific.
Thank you very much Ira. This was a great day at the beach. Not quite the bluest day but nice anyway. Sharon
Nice light treatment...you love your new camera, don't you??!! SirFin
Hi Sharon, Hope you well! Love the mood in this! Saw Tom L's great advice! A polariser is a inexpensive way to make a big difference esp in the skies, really brings out the sky to complete the picture!
Hi, 2C. I went to Ritz camera store and bought some filters. One for UV protection of my lens. One polarizing filter. And a fun on that is for night called Cross 6X. I will try them out soon. I have never done a night one with lights, but the lady said this was a fun filter and I will try it. Thanks again, Sharon
Hi SirFin. I do like the camera. I am learning what all the buttons and different screens do. I did go get some different filters. Now what to do!!. Sharon
Hi sharon, always fun for night shots, don't forget your tripod/monopod, generally hand-held stuff at night turns out rubbish on close inspection. Anything longer then a 60th of a sec in time generally requires a tripod because of camera shake!
I swear by the polarizer! great for water too! have fun!
Hi 2C. I am looking fo0rward to some night stuff. I have a spot that I want to do car headlights and tail lights. I have to read up on that though. There is a spot on our freeway that cars curve up a hill and I think it would look great. I will see. I did get a tripod the other day to help with the shaking of the camera that I seem to do all the time. Talk to you later, thanks for the great advice. Sharon
It is angry, but not yet in fury, :-) Olga
I was there the week before without a camera and it was the most beautiful blue I had ever seen. I went back with camera in hand and found the foggy ocean. Sharon
Hello Ataman. Thanks for the nice words. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I am off to your gallery now to see all your photos. Thanks again for visiting. Sharon
