Beautiful picture with great colors and contrast. A first glance it looks abstract - but then you discover the seals. Are they alive?

Kind regards. Finn.

Hi Finn. There is a beach in Southern California that used to be a hang out for all the kids as it was very sheltered and parents could keep track of the kids easily. The Seals started hanging out there and since they are protected, they decided to stay. Here is some info about the seals if you are interested. Also, they are very much alive. I have a bunch more photos from that day I haven't had a chance to upload them. Thanks for the visit and kind comment. Have a wonderful weekend. ~~Sharon

This whole section of the beach used to be called Children's Pool. The seals became protected and they took over this section of the beach. It is fun to watch. They aren't afraid of the people at all. They just lay around and veg out. I put in a link in the first comment section so you can link on it and find out all about them. They are quite cute, not to sweet smelling though. Sharon
