You could almost imagine yourself walking along here, camera in hand, waiting in anticipation.
Thankyou, I did more than that, I was carrying a sketching kitbag as well as a camera. It was too dark to sketch anything, but I did get a few photographs (overexposed a tad, so I had to rember the sky!
I grew up around thick, lush woodland, it is a place I'm at home in (we don't have Bears in UK )
So did you ever paint it? I'm pleased to hear that you don't have bears in the UK, that is not the sought of surprise one needs. What happened to the cheeky Mike that usually replies?
Cheeky Mike is in bed, this is the serious one whose job it is to apologise for that idiot upstairs-he tends to upset those of a rather delicate nature sometimes!
Oh dear, not sure what to say to that. Most people (I'm sure) understand that there is no harm intended. I prefer the cheeky Mike myself. Keep smiling.
I did a couple of paintings on this week long break at Ford Castle, also a couple of paintings of Lindisfarne Castle, I have one or two about the place needing further attention, one on a board in the studio of Heatherslaw mill stream, or river, with a distant view of the hills in the distance, it is not yet complete, but it was started about 1997! thyere is plenty of time!
I see serious Mike is still in bed. You okay? You sound a bit down.
Naaaah! I'm just fine!
dunno whaye yer fashed aboot me, aam as fine as fine can be, never worry nor get upset, if aam no weel, aal tell yer , pet!
It will sound like an excuse, but it's not....I been answering snail-mail, making phone-calls and getting on to more publishers about the 'wee BOOK(let)'...so far, no luck...but I will Percy Vear!
Just away now to look at your gallery!

....BEEN AND WENT, SEEN A FEW i LIKE, AFEW i LOVE, VERY WELL DONE jEN CONGRATULATIONS !
Still as charming as ever. Glad you like some of what you saw. What's this about a book. Glad you're okay.
maybe in my writing, but maybe not face to face, it must be that is why I am a long time batchelor?
weeBOOK(let) is a collection of Panoramians photographs each with a wee poem or rhyme attached, that I am trying to get published to raise funds for a local charity, there are about 60 of them, would you like me to scribble a rhyme under one of yours?
(it costs nothing, but I may ask if you would be prepared to offer your photograph for publication, it would be fully protected by copyright law, and you would be mentioned as you are now, under the photograph & the weeBOOK(let) would have a contact to Panoramio, should anyone wish to contact you...wether to see your gallery or ask you to photograph a subject for their publication...who knows?)
This message is getting to be almost a chapter! So I shall close now as there are lots to answer before I travel up the wooden hill, along the timber trail to lie under the cloudy quilt! ( also it is clock adjusting day, we lose an hour tonight!)
So you can take great photos, paint, draw, and write poetry. Is there anything you can't do Sunshine. Happy to let you use whatever photo/s you'd like, I'm all for helping out a good cause. When it IS published though you'll have to let me know how to purchase a copy of it and make sure you put it on Panoramia that its been published and the sales will go through the roof. Don't be shy about it. Charming is charming, so there.
Have a good night.
if IT GETS PUBLISHED, ALL CONTRIBUTORS ARE WELCOME TO A FREE COPY, BUT i'D NEED A DROP-OFF ADRESS, LOCAL pOST oFFICE WOULD DO FINE, any VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS CAN BE SENT DIRECT TO THE CHARITY, 'nORTHUMBRIA dAYBREAK' HERE TO ensure the money gets to them direct.

Henny Penny do not be upset, I mean no harm, I'm a man, remember, so I'm never right!
(except when I put both feet in my mouth at the same time!)
best wishes, don't fall out with me, I don't look good when I cry
Don't be silly Mike, I'm not upset. I just said that there are probably a lot of people out there that would love to be able to paint and can't. Those that can are very lucky and very talented. Keep on smiling.
