Hey, wx, good to hear from you - and thanks for the compliment :) I'm only here occasionally as I keep getting network timeouts. It can take 5 minutes before I see a photo I click on. Good luck in the contests :) Mark

Thanks for your kind words, Tom. Conditions were a bit trying but I took a goodly bunch of shots trying different povs and zoom.

As often happens, it was one of the first I took that I ran with :) Cheers, --Mark

Wonderful image here. I like what you have done with black and white. Many people these days do not use it sadly enough.

Cheers, Ansel

Im still on the line of HDR... , but this image itself is definitely swinging me to a more positive outlook of it... beautifully done

highton-ridley, on August 5, said:

Thanks DR :)

@Rafael - hey, whassup dude, it's been a while! As far as the HDR goes, it doesn't have to be done with a heavy hand... I mostly use it for local contrast enhancement, at least that's what ends up happening!

Go on, give it a try ;) Sitting on the fence to long gives you a second crease on yer backside!

Did u check out http://www.highton-ridley.co.uk/blog yet? Lots of stuff going on there...
