In Abbey Woods park stands or rather leans this tree. Though it is exposed on a hillside, no other trees nearby grow like this so it cannot be the wind that has caused to lean like this
Whatever has caused the tree to lean it is a very fin photo, along with many other of your photos, thank you for shearing, I love to see pictures from other contries.

In all likleyhood this trees, since it was planted, started slanting & tending to lean this way because of little or nothing care from residents/gardeners. We have lots of trees bending this way in our surrondings (north Ital. Nevertheless this photo illustrating this particular tree... ,admittedly, is rather a rare marvel. Cheerio Ivano
