On the road to Gundagai......

........and that ole dog is still sitting on that Tuckerbox, 5 miles from Gundagai...!!!!!

The wind that day in Gundagai was the hottest I have ever felt. Temp was a mere 42C, but it was unbelievably blast furnace hot. Last time I was there the Murrumbidgee was in flood and that whole plain was under water!!!! Gundagai was the dryest place we encountered. Cheers D and look out for the worm virus tomorrow. H

...but still more bearable than Queensland weather. Here is a photo Paul S has taken and I think it looks up to the hill where I took my pic. The vegetation looks even more sparse. Greetings from Melbourne.

O Jee, I took one at the other end and visited the DOG.. this is fantastic

I think your location is not exactle correct, just 1 K north...

Hi more of Geerten in O (I will have to visit that gallery as well) - I was through here in October this year - the first time I have seen Gundagai with green grass - what a difference from this terribly hot day in 2009.

I think the location is correct because I was on a lookout at the opposite end of the town.
