Amazing photo. Well done. D
Very cute! Checking up on his abode?
....sadly we couldn't wait any longer to see if he would get in. No-one would believe me when I said he would be able to fit in there!!!! H
I visited here yesterday but wasn't able to leave a comment. That was my exact question. And if he does get in how on earth can the mom walk around, the baby is as big as her. And another (possibly dumb) question, are the mammary glands in the pouch? Very interesting shot Helen.
Peaceful picture! Wonderful!
Best regards, Vyacheslav
Hello Cal and Vyacheslav - I am thinking now that this one is probably too big for the pouch, although somehow the mothers still manage to hop around with quite big joeys. She may have another embryonic one in the pouch because they can make two kinds of milk if they have a joey at foot and one tiny one "in" They are beautiful animals. H
Cal have a look at this one, she seems to have a pretty big load to carry
Beautiful animals and amazing too! Another Y*!
Hi Jean, I am a bit behind, making a strong effort this morning. Beautiful and amazing the only words for kangaroos. I don't eat them. H
My 12 year old wanted to see some kangaroos and their joeys, so what better spot to look for great shots than on Panoramio? This one definitely ranks as a great shot, Helen.
Thanks JohnnyTopaz - glad you liked these. I could watch them all day. The joeys are very pretty and quite funny as they play and indulge in pretend boxing bouts with other joeys. Greetings to you from Melbourne.
I like Kangaroos! Y*!!!!!!
