There are beautyfull old places in Great Britain. In the future, my wife and me want to visit the Lake District.
Ah Gernot, the Lake District!
It is a part of England that many people visit, fall in love with and return many times. It is sometimes known as Little Switzerland, and of course the home of the Lake Poets such as Wordsworth, Coleridge and Southey.
I have been there many times but before the digital camera! We spent our honeymoon there in a February and it was the first and only time I have walked on the snow-covered Fells.
If you manage to get there I am sure you will not be disappointed. And if you like walking there are the famous Wainwright Guides.
Best Wishes Peter
