the reason i organized the elections this way is because the line between an original photo and a photoshopped photo is very thin. sometimes it's hard to see if it's real or photoshopped. if we would make two elections it would be easy to fraude (some people will do everything to get more attention for a photo). that's why there no rules or requirements to the content of the photo.

it's true that the most populair photo's on the Panoramio Election Tag Page are displayed on the first pages. i'm sorry for that, but i can't change it. it's a dicision of Panoramio to put the most populair tagged photo's first.

To ManhattanManiac: Thanks for your reply and your comment! I guess you are right and as I know nothing about Photoshop I'm not really the one who is able to see the difference. In some pictures it is very obvious, but in others it could be more easy to fraude. Lets hope the best photo concerning technique, exposure, composition and atmosphere may win!
