South and North Korea had met on four previous occasions in the last 14 months with each encounter ending in a draw. This game looked to be heading the same way before Kim Chi-woo fired home a late free kick to send the home fans into raptures.Teakuk Warriors(太極戰士) are now on top of Group with 11 points from five games. North Korea are in second with one point less but having played one game more.

Greetings,from Stephan to lovely friends

Hi Stephan

do I understand everything correct? This game endet 1 : 1 but now South Korea is leader in this qualification group?

Does that mean that your team has to met the North Korea team again in Pyöngyang for a final match?

Hi Volker,

Nice to meet you again. The game ended 1:0 to South Korea.SK also is leader in this qualification Group B in Asian qualifying round. Unfortunately,North Korea doesn't want to meet SK at Pyongyang. That is why North Korea even threatened last year that they would shut down in protest against the South Korea's National flag with the national anthem at Pyonyang stadium. This is real situation between both sides.

Greetings,Stephan
