As an ex-resident of Aylesbury I must agree with Mike Zawadzki; this is a photo of Kingsbury. If you expand the picture the street sign showing 'Kingsbury' can be seen on the L/H white building nearest the bus stop. N.B. Where the water feature is (centre right) used to be a lovely old Edwardian underground public toilet.

I remember the Kingsbury Square Bus Station during the war when there were buses operated by amongst others London Transport - 301 to Watford and 359 to Amersham, Red Rover, Queens Park Coaches to Halton, Oxford City, Eastern National all around Aylesbury and to Luton and I think a company named Osborne. Happy memories from a wartime evacueee
