Good Morning ElainaG, Between you and Snipe you give new meaning to winter cold and snow. Just beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing.

Cheers,

Rich

Well, you know, you just can't ignore winter up here, it just won't let you. Anchorage is the only city I've lived in so far (and I can claim a few) that is so lovely in snow. It can indeed be magical. And Anchorage doesn't get the cold that Snipe gets over McCarthy way. I think it was around -10F when I took these shots. Down to -20F at night.

Actually winter here is very much what I grew up with in south-central Michigan, with shorter days. Heck, it can't be any worse than Leadville, and with better oxygen!
