It's unbelievable, but I can see these boats on the satellite photo! New technologies make world smaller :-)

Have a nice weekend

I used to thought that photo with junk on the sea is very beautiful. It is also beautiful when they are on the shore. Thanks for sharing.

It is great to receive your comments, Jeff, Rafal and Eleni. Thank you. Rafal remarks that the world has become smaller - and within an hour of my posting this photo, I have received appreciative comments from friends in China, Poland and Greece!

Warm regards from Australia,

Ian

Together but alone...GGR.

Together but alone...yet surrounded by the busy city.

Dear GGR, On this morning Margaret and I had risen early and driven an hour to the coast just so we could walk in the sunrise. Two friends joined us and we had a lovely time together, but with the camera I could have these little moments when I was creatively alone with such scenes.

Very aloive shot!

How is now with your fires,Jan? Have you finished to suffer? Olga

Dear Olga and Eva,

In receiving comments from both of you on the picture of these boats I immediately burst into song singing the Song of The Volga Boatmen. Russia together with Ukraine is the land of great rivers, and incredibly varied coastlines from Kamchatka to the Baltic, from the Black Sea to the Aral Sea!

The songs I sing, are often out of tune, but songs we hear in our hearts are the purest melodies.

Living in Sydney, and on this great island continent, the harbour, beaches and coastline are like magnets that pull Australians inevitably to the sea. And onto the beach and into boats, yachts, surf-skis, ferries or onto surfboards.

One day, I dream of being in a boat on the Volga and on the Dnepr.

Warmest regards,

Yan / Jan
