Like something out of "The Shipping News" Keith - wish I was there.
Very nice if a bit chilly I'll be bound.
The day was very pleasant, weather-wise, and we went out on the motorbikes.
I was quite pleased to have discovered this bit of coast I hadn't seen before and took loads of photos, but when I got back and looked on GE I was disappointed to find the area well covered by some of my prolific Panoramio neighbours. I struggled to find something different to add.
When I browse the area on GE I keep discovering the odd Jethrohoyt contribution. Did you spend much time in this corner of the country?
Thanks for your visit.
I lived in the north west for 13 years (depending how you count them Keith) and courted and married a neighbor of yours from the North East.
I enjoyed posting some of my ancient photographs of the industrial North East that exists now only in memory.
Oh to get out on a bike here! Right now you wouldn't want to do it as the air is full of yellow pollen, like a sea-fret but harder to inhale.
I do like this picture very much. Did you ever see The Shipping News? This was like the house on the cliff tops I reckon. What is this used for now?
Want to relive your youth on holiday? This is what it is used for now
That's a lot of money for a windy week Keith. But the location is stunning.
I think I need more guaranteed warmth (call it sunshine less the breeze) at my age!
Thanks for the offer though........ :o)
best regard zmogelis
