Hi Marilyn Whiteley

Very good illustration. It's a nice winter day. Great shot. Congratulations.

Good grief!! I can't believe it can be THAT cold and frosty when you should be basking in the balmy spring days!!

Marilyn hang in there, spring must be hiding behind a tree somewhere! As any South African will say: (Afrikaans) "Vasbyt" which is the equivalent to "Grit your teeth and hang on".

It's a most expressive photograph even if the tennis date has to be postponed temporarily...!!

Cheers, Hazel

Thanks for stopping by, İsmail, Hazel, and Tonia. I pass by here very, very often because it's quite near our house, yet I never before thought of taking a picture. But it looked so forlorn in the late-season snowstorm! In the winter the nets are down, but they've been put back up because it's supposed to be spring! Cheers, Marilyn

Surely not! I hope you have at least one week of summer, Marilyn. It will come.

I'm game! I'll just get my skirt...

Belated thanks, Ian and whoelius. I should go take another picture now to show that summer has finally come--but actually this was a more distinctive sight in the snow!
