First of three photos of Dover Police making an arrest at the bottom of Priory Hill where it meets the High Street on the 9th of April, 2009, just after 1.30 pm. The photos were taken using a Samsung G800 mobile phone.

At the time this photo was taken there was one marked Police car on the scene and the perpetrator, or rather suspect, hadn't been handcuffed - the policeman was just reaching in his pocket to take the handcuffs out.

I'll add more information when it becomes available.

The other photos are: Dover Police Arrest 2 and Dover Police Arrest 3 (or use the Police tag).

The building in the top right-hand part of the photo is "St Martin's Court", a redevelopment of the church of St Columba, and scene of a fire on Saturday, 22 September 2007 - click on this fire link to see photos.

This is the Images of Dover website.
