It is a fishing vessel (the F/V Ocean Clipper) that went around in 1987 on Reef Point on St. Paul Island. It was shipwrecked in a fur seal rookery and become a death trap to Northern Fur Seal pups, a population in decline.
In April 2010, the vessel was removed in order to protect the local fur seal population. It was quite an effort. Check it out! Ocean Clipper Blog
