Very beautiful shot Luis, congratulation
I learned that its quite difficult to "get" birds that are living in the open country. So I can show just a couple of birds that are used to be in touch with people. Some other pictures of shy birds are in preparation, will show it later.
Best wishes
Volker

Thanks Volker. The "secret" is to make lots of pictures. Most will go wrong, but sometimes something there any good photo (some days you do not a single interesting picture). Professional photographers spend countless hours in the hide in trying to take the desired shot, but I'll just walk in the countryside and when I see something interesting I do a lot of shots. Sometimes it helps go in a car because it serves as a mobile hide. Both this picture as this oneI made from the car.
I wait for your other bird photos
Greetings. Luis

Thank you Luis for your interesting information. Up to now I have met only one bird, that will not let you come very close, the heron. Most of my bird photos therefore are showing animals that are living in parks or near the city, so they are used to people walking nearby. Even the herons are visiting a small lake here in an Hamburg suburb. One day I will get one ;)
Greetings
Volker

You're very lucky to live in Hamburg. When I was there, on the Alster I saw lots of birds (herons, loons, gooses ...) can not normally see in the city of Madrid (to view you must go to the field). And with the amount of trees you have there in the street it's possible saw amazing birds (jays, crows, ravens).
Greetings,
Luis

Thanks again for your comments, in this and in the other photos.
I have seen gannets, gulls, swans, merganses... in your photos. Do you like birds? I like too the bird of your nick name. His name in spanish is "colimbo chico". I have seen them in summer in Iceland and Shetland Islands, but in Spain only is possible see them in the north in winter.
Tschüss. Luis

Hola Luis,
you're welcome. :-) Yes, watching birds and other animals is my favorite hobby. I like birds a lot, but i need a better camera and lenses to make better photos. The "Colimbo chico" is one of my favorite birds. During autumn, winter and early spring they can be seen on the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. On some of the bavarian lakes he can be seen in winter too, like his close relative "Colimbo ártico". In Spain i only have been in the region of Puebla de Sanabria, which was very beautiful and exciting. :-) You seem to like birds too... :-)
Hasta luego! Mathias :-)
