The Art of Water. The weir on the River Severn, Shrewsbury
It's worth to enlarge it, Amelia. Then one can see the real art of the water. It itches in my fingers to make a cut, you know it. The pattern is so graphically - wunderful!
I'm not shure, if I could load this pic. I have already some of your photos in my gallery, manipulated. But your photos are often good for inspiration and stimulate my imagination.
Well I have found all five, most dainty cloven footed one ~~ another tub of Maltesers please pronto per favour ~ there are two that I have not voted for, one hurts my eyes too much :) the other one looks like a tank or two :))
I wish you the best of luck in this month's contest ~ I'd love to see one come somewhere ~ you have a growing band of faithfuls ~ quite deservedly so too in my humble opinion. Have a great weekend ~~ ciao nick (Oh and Voted too)
I was a bit worried about the "tank or two" comment dear Nick I thought I'd got some verticals seriously wrong somewhere again - Miaow. But now I know what you mean :)))
Can't say I can blame you for the "big red" either - it's altogether too shocking!! But, I can't just enter boring photos, so that really puts the kibosh on any success. Anyway, it takes too long to reply :)) Far better to enter something obscure :)
Our weekend started today - Norway celebrates the 1st May with a public holiday. Have a great Bank Holiday :)))
Amelia the Obscure has a certain sort of ring about it doesn't it? ~~ However I still far prefer the dainty marco cloven footed handle myself.
Yes perish the though I'd never suggest that your tanks were slightly off the vertical these days, but you are very perceptive.
I look forward to seeing the results of your adventures this long weekend later then ~ does Norway take Monday off as well?
The phases of the moon seem to come and go as regularly as the tide ~ perhaps the sea controls it in a magical mysterious way ~ I think we should be told :)

The title is perfect for your picture Ameilia. It is real art! Well seen :)

The Art of Amelia would be a more appropriate title me thinks ~ Happy Easter Amelia ~ ciao nick
Thank you Digga, the patterns in the water just before it went over the weir were fascinating - I'm so pleased you thought so too :))
Greetings from the UK to Germany, Amelia
I agree dear Billy - the thumbnail is very unprepossessing - the water was doing most of the work here mind you - I just happened to notice it :))))
Dear Nick - it is full moon - but I love your comment :))
Ciao, Amelia
You must tell me dear Mira when you start to get fed up with my fixation with water ;-)
Greetings, Amelia

Superb, YS. I like it much. Olga
I don't think many people will open this one Olga, apart from those who really know my photos that is :))
So I'm so pleased that you have looked at a black smudge, opened it and, not only that, have given it a gold star :))
Thank you dear friend, Amelia
