Lung Kwu Chau (LKC) has the landmark of a rectangular metal plate at top of island, which serves as a passive repeater for microwave communication between Hongkong Island and somewhere in west New Territories. Looking south of LKC is Sha Chau radar station; further south is HK international airport. Local water territory provides favorable environment for Chinese white dolphins.
