Hi Majid, my friend. Thank you for visiting my Presidents. This is the state that I was born in and it holds very fond memories. I would love to live there except during the winter blizzards. I hope your week is going wonderfully. Thanks again, Sharon

PS I feel as if I am getting a lot of Overseas Friends. Reminds me of the Pen Pals I had when I was young, only with pictures. ;`)

Dear Shaeurpo

We had a Discussion to my friend about this place, Can you Explain a little about that?

Are the new statues add to this place or not?

Thanks a lot for it

Hi Majid. Here is some information on Mt. Rushmore. I know that there is room for more if another President becomes Special enough to be put up there. Personally, I hope they never do add more. First of all, it would be hard to dynamite through Granite Rock without hurting or ruining the others. And I do not feel that any modern day President could do anything special enough. Maybe if a President got the countries of the world to get along and stop wars I would wish them up there for all time. Hopefully this helped. There was a special on The History Channel if you get that channel on television. Sharon

Norrel on April 20, 2009

I first saw pictures of Mt Rushmore after my dad visited this place in 1973. At that time I thought making sculptures out of mountains was a good idea, and didn't understand why this wasn't done more often.

~~West Coast Sharon~… on April 20, 2009

Hi Norrel. This is a great place and very interesting to walk around. When you see the true size of the president's heads you can't explain. I also think it is a good idea, but a very large undertaking. There is also a monument to Crazy Horse that I have a couple photos of in my gallery and that has been in the making for years and years because they do not want to use government money. Thanks for looking and have a great week. Sharon
