ready to jump the fence ..!

You caught the magic moment when all four feet were off the ground. I'm sure you know the story told that it was a bet about this fraction of a second that supposedly led to the invention of the motion picture camera.

Great capture

she's absolutely gorgeous. great timing.

Bert Kaufmann on April 17, 2009

Wow, Tom. That's a wonderful actionshot!

Tom on April 17, 2009

Gracias jopoloco. Very kind of you to say. :)

Much appreciated Walter. Thanks.

Muy alegre le gusta esta imagen Tino. El título pareció encajar a mi amigo.

And he could easily do it too LM. But there is no sweet feed on the other side of the fence and I think he knows that. :) Cheers.

It is a cool thing to see isn't it Hank?! You can't time something like this so rapid fire is the way to go. :) Thanks for the nice remarks on the shot my friend.

Thank you arlena for those nice comments.

Glad you like it Bert. I was shooting in high rate mode(six frames per second) to get this one shot. :)

Best regards to you all,

Wowie Zowie Tom. Another perfect photo. I love the color of the horse and you caught the action at just the moment. I am sure you planned it just so. Such a talented artist you are!. Talk to you later my friend. Have a great weekend and find bunches of stuff to show us. Sharon

Tom on April 19, 2009

I had to post an action shot after seeing your recent motorcross shots Séan. Although this one only has one horse power. :) I appreciate your kind comments my friend.

Thank you Sharon for that very enthusiastic reaction. :) Planned it? If you call taking 90 shots in a little over five minutes planning, then Yes. :) You are too kind.

Best regards to you both,

christian.senger on April 21, 2009

Great horse picture, you've captured the speed of the scene despite the very fast exposure!

Tom on April 21, 2009

Thank you very much Christian for the very nice comments. Much appreciated.

Best regards, Tom

Excellent shot Tom! My daughter will drool when she sees this! Excellent title for it as well.

Tom on April 21, 2009

Thanks very much Ben. I was after a clean, sharp image of this guy in full gallop. He's a Lippizan-Andalusian cross who will eventually be completely white. Very happy to give your daughter a thrill. :)

Best regards, Tom
