Beacon Mill, Rottingdean, built in 1802 is a three storey smock mill, it originally had a fantail, but this is now missing. It has been restored several times since its demise in 1881 as a working mill.

A splendid capture of this grand old mill. I think the sepia is most appealing for such a shot, and I also enjoyed the history as very much.

Beautifully captured.

Best regards from the USA,

Mary Alice

Thanks for your comments Mary Alice, when I took this photo' it was a very overcast day, I tried to enhance it by adding sepia, I think it worked, regards, Doug.
