Quite a capture Graham. Love the light coming from the thundercloud. Well done. How long ago did you take this one?

Best regards, Tom

I was trying for a conventional lighting shot, Tom, but rather pleased by s slightly different result (very hit and miss business, as I'm sure you appreciate). This was the view from our front garden and we lived in the house between 1999 and the end of 2002 - we still own it and my wife's parents are living there, so maybe we'll be back sometime for more... Many happy memories, Jim - as I said to Tom, it was taken from in front of our house in SA - my wife is going back there for a few weeks to see her folks on Wednesday - so I'm feeling a bit of the old wanderlust again myself - maybe next year :)

thanks Lorenzo - this was from out front garden- the picture of the estuary and flowering aloes was taken form a little to the left of the line of green fluorescent lights on the far ridge :)
