This house was burned down last in the Spring of 2008. It apparently decayed after the owner gave the metal roofing it once had to someone in town. The upstairs floor was covered by painted canvas - which may have been common, but I have not seen this in other abandoned houses in this rea. Great blueberry picking at this site! This was one of the few remaining abandoned houses in Upper New Harbour - some wonderful farmsteads have been lost here over the past twenty years.
