Mikhail Lermontov / Michail Lermontow

Named after the russian poet Michail Jurjewitsch Lermontow (1814-1841).

Built in Wismar, formerly GDR.

Maiden voyage : Leningrad, 28th of May, 1973.

The ship sank on the 16 Feb 1986 at Marlborough Sound, New Zealand.
