My wife is South African Roma - we were married there 20 years ago, and I've been back a few of times since - this was taken in 1998, when we both took a year off work to see what it would be like to live there - we went back in 1999 and bought a house, where we lived until the end of 2002, but I couldn't really get enough work to keep going, so we came back to the UK again.
