Lovely photo. I like the dappled lighting. I have very much enjoyed viewing your other bird photos and your album.

Many thanks for the comment. I am glad you have enjoyed the other bird photographs. I aim to add more however I rapidly found it is much harder to photograph them compared with spotting them through binoculars! A wren visits daily but will not keep still enough to get a sharp shot and now the trees are in leaf the lighting level has dropped making my f5.6 telephoto redundant :(

Have you tried using flash Kenny? Bill here in NC has published a little piece about making a beamer which is most impressive, almost as much so as his pictures which I know you will enjoy. Scroll down this page to about 66% down and see the piece on use of flash. Even without this add-on I have had some good success in woodlands.

This is a lovely picture regardless.
