I am delighted that you have enjoyed this incredible piece of Australia, Craig. And I am pleased to learn that you have had contact from someone in PNG. Keep your dreams alive.

Wow Ian - now I have seen something new.

Never realised that Flowering Gums came in this colour too!! We have Bright Red, Cherry Red, Orange-Red, Pink and Cream coloured versions, but I've never seen a bright yellow version before!

It's beautiful and the tree in full flower must be magnificent! Thanks for this - it's such a lovely cheerful picture, well focussed and lively.

Warm greetings, Hazel

Ian, thanks Panoramio learned to know the world. Your eucalyptus has a very beautiful, bright yellow flower.

Y* - This photo comes to favorites.

Greetings from sunny Germany, spring comes with power,

Ge Ko

Thank you for your contribution, Craig - I had no idea for it was completely new to me too.

I am grateful for the Y* Ge Ko, and for your warm greetings from the warmth of spring, there.

And Hazel, me too!!! Thanks again for your sharing in our Panoramio conversations. They are always delightful. Fond greetings.

Dear Craig,

See the Add to Favourites marker above the photo - click on it and it goes into your basket of Favourite Photos. It evidently also is a contributing factor to the Panoramio ranking of images, I believe.. but Panoramio has a lot to learn yet about ranking and providing a slide show function to go with the Favourites basket.

If you now go to Ge Ko's album, and click on his Favourite Photos List you will find that this photo is the last one added to his collection of Favourites.

Fantastic! I could even imagine how this was! Olga

Ian Stehbens on May 3, 2009

Thanks Olga. It has been as much a pleasure for me to take you into the Australian desert, as it was for me to be introduced to Kamchatka by you.

Ian Stehbens on June 10, 2009

It is a special flower, and is very attractive ti bees and beetles. Glad you like the image, John.

Olga I. Yakovenko on June 18, 2009

Let's hope Ian, that one day...

I am gratful for your comments to my Netherlands. I had good and quiet possibility to see some nice places there. One free day, and me alone!!! I can't make good photos when I am with people, Olga

Ian Stehbens on June 19, 2009

As for me, Olga, I also enjoy my photography when I am alone, but I think I do my most creative work when my wife is with me. She is a silent listener, but when she speaks she is always so encouraging.
