这是一张难得的照片，摄于2008年11月2日早晨。太阳刚射入中国中部秦岭南坡的山谷，一群朱寰（6-7只）从一片刚收割完的水田里飞起，逆光恰好将这种珍惜鸟类特有的粉红色羽毛表现的十分清晰。而照片右侧的农舍反映出人类与野生动物和谐共生的自然状态。 在这个地点附近，就是著名的中国长青大熊猫保护区的核心区，著名动物学家潘文石教授曾在此从事野外科考工作长达十年，并最终促成了该保护区的建立。
