IM CURIOUS NOW...If Nikon dont make a 14 mm lens then what lens did you use ...Sigma?
backstreatbob I use the following wide angled zoom : to quote
Nikon AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8G ED
The ultra wide-angle/fast aperture combination of the AF-S 14-24 f2.8 G ED lens is a world first, and is highly adaptable for the tight spaces busy professional photographers often find themselves working in
Draken, ~ Many thanks for your useful input ~ I think the issue might be the other way round here ~ I only use FX lens ~ I'm not sure that backstreetbob wasn't wondering if a FX lens could be used alright on a DX body. As you can gather I'm not that strong on all of the various techical details, but I so seem to remember when researching what super duper camera to trat myself too reading that FX lens work OK on DX bodies, but not so well the other way round.
Way too much technical information Nick, still a great shot!
A beautiful and excellent shot Nick ...nice perspective and composition...very well done....i Like it very much..
Gabor Retei ~ I wonder if this is a record for a reply to an overlooked comment Gabe ~ you placed your comment on May 9th 2009! ... and many thanks for it too :))
A.Lebacq, ~ Arthur you have been digging deep into the back pages of my gallery to find this shot ~ Thanks for hitting the like button, but far more thanks for your thoughtful appraisal ~
Most friendly greetings to you both ~ nick
I can beat that record by a long way dear Nick :)))
Amelia Royan, ~ Silly me .... of course ~ well a golden star when you find the longest one dearest LGM :))))))))
