Sevan prehistoric sites in the Cuyama Valley were excavated by Archaeological Research Inc, UC Santa Barabara and Cal State Northridge from 1970 to 1973.
The sites were never written up or published until Dr. V.A. Levulette and the Far Western Anthropological Research Group pulled the results together and published them in five volumes in 2014-15.
