WOW! I did not know that anything from Kuldiga castle survived - I have an old picture with Kuldiga castle on it. do you have any more information about it? I know the history of the castle I am rather intersted in its plan/architecture and modern remains. If you can give me any advise on those I would be very thankful. Also I had a look through your gallery - since you traveled a lot I thought you might be interested in Famagusta - one of the most beautifull cities I have ever been to and it is not very well known. Thanks Tomek

You can try to find more info at, and Unfortunately, largest part in Latvian only.

Up tp ruins- nowadays there remain only hill with ruins and some parts of former trenches around the former castle place (I have photos also from these parts, but not published). From later castle surroundings - there remain watermill and guards' house
