In interiorul Palatului Culturii se afla sediul Complexului Muzeal National "Moldova" Iasi , care cuprinde :

Muzeul de Istorie al Moldovei. Acesta este situat la parterul **Palatului Culturii*, in aripa vestica, si este continuatorul Muzeului de Antichitati infiintat de Orest Tafrali in 1916, si are patru sectii - preistorie si istorie veche, istorie medievala, istorie moderna si istorie contemporana .

Muzeul Etnografic al Moldovei a fost infiintat in 1943 si expune obiecte a caror varsta depaseste in multe cazuri 100 de ani. In spatiul de vizitare situat in aripa vestica a Palatului Culturii la etajele I si al II-lea, sunt prezentate ocupatii traditionale principale - agricultura, viticultura si cresterea animalelor, si secundare - pescuitul, vanatoarea, albinaritul, precum si instalatii taranesti, interioare traditionale, olaritul, prelucrarea lemnului, colectii de masti, scoarte si costume populare.

Muzeul de Arta . La etaj, se gasesc galeriile de arta europeana si romaneasca ale Muzeului de Arta. Acesta este continuatorul celei mai vechi pinacoteci din tara, ce a fiintat pe langa prima universitate moderna romaneasca din 1860, cu un inventar ce includea donatii ale lui Gheorghe Asachi, Scarlat Varnav, Costache Dasiade, A. Donici, V.A. Urechia, substantial imbogatit de colectia lui Costache Negri devenita proprietate a muzeului, gratie unui gest similar, din 1874.Aici se pot admira Cezar primind capul lui Pompei de Caravaggio, Virgina in extaz si Pieta de Murillo, The Sfanta Familie de Van Dyck, Lucretia de Tintoretto, Marte, Venus si Cupidon de Veronese, picturi ale artistilor romani : Teodor Aman, Nicolae Grigorescu, Theodor Pallady, Corneliu Baba, Alexandru Ciucurencu, Dan Hatmanu, Ion Tuculescu.

Muzeul Stiintei si Tehnicii "STEFAN PROCOPIU", denumit astfel drept omagiu marelui savant iesean , se gaseste la parterul Palatului, dar in aripa estica, . Muzeul, al carui prim nucleu s-a constituit inca din 1955, include acum sectiile: energetica, inregistrarea si redarea sunetului, telecomunicatii, mineralogie-cristalografie.(dupa Around Romania ).

Today is the headquarters of the National Museum Complex "Moldova", shelters four major museums: the History Museum of Moldavia, the Ethnographic Museum of Moldavia, the Art Museum and Museum of Science and Technology.

The Art Museum was inaugurated on the 26th of October 1860. It has 24 show rooms and over 6000 works of art are held in here, 2600 of them being paintings. It is made out of three sections: the universal art gallery; the Rumanian modern art gallery; the Rumanian contemporany art gallery. Interesting to see: Cesar receiving Pompei’s head by Caravaggio, The Virgin in ecstasy and Pieta by Murillo, The Holy Family by Van Dyck, Lucretia by Tintoretto, Mars, Venus and Cupid by Veronese, the paintings of the Rumanian artists: Teodor Aman, Nicolae Grigorescu, Theodor Pallady, Corneliu Baba, Alexandru Ciucurencu, Dan Hatmanu, Ion Tuculescu.

The History Museum was opened in the 4th decade of the 19th century under the guidance of the Association of doctors and naturalists and the Mihailean Academy, it was called the Antiquity Museum of Iasi. In 1920 a group of teachers founded a municipal museum containing rare books, old coins, paintings, ancient costumes, object belonging to the ruler Al. I. Cuza. It has been saved is nowadays in the History Museum founded between 1964 and 1974 in the Palace of Culture. It has over 20000 pieces of historical and documentary value, from painted ceramics of Cucuteni, Dacian ceramics, Roman amphora’s, arms dating from the 13th century to the 17th century to rare books and documents, silver and gold jewels.

The Polytechnic Museum. Dating from the 25th of June 1955, and opened on the 1st of March 1961, it contains three sections: the Energetic section, the Recording and rendition of the sound section and the Telecommunications section.

The Ethnographic Museum . Opened in 1959, it is structured on the basic occupations of our ancestors: agriculture, animal breeding, hunting, fishing, bee culture, trades, national costumes, ceramics etc (by Around Romania ).
