Yes I was, Matteo. It casts a very unique shadow, doesn't it. The grassy park is such a contradiction with the scrap yard that actually appears on the aerial photo.

It will be interesting (when they update the aerial) to see how close I came to the correct spot.

Looks like a nice spot to reflect on such a monumental tradjedy,i would love to visit New York one day.

It's one location that will never lose sight of it's reason for being; that's for sure, as it sits with an unobstructed view of the World Trade Center site. There's lot's to see and do in New York, and this side trip to Bayonne will require an effort. I guess it depends on how much time you can spend here.
