Welcome to New Jersey Fernando. Thanks for you comments and for bringing this hot back to the front. Best regards.
why is it that google earth can't update the view of this monument? it is no wonder other countries
@spad: Click the toolbar's clock icon to turn on GE's Historical Imagery feature (which sometimes has images newer than the base image.) Several shots in there show the monument. (Hank> feel free to delete this!)
Not at all Lucia, I learned something myself today and I'm glad to have the explanation associated with my picture. I agreed with our friend spad-jockey in that I too would like GE to update the aerial photo so I could better place where I was standing.
That is a wonderful picture. Thanks for sharing!
Greetings aengdu, and thanks for stopping by and joining us in this conversation. I was very lucky to capture this angle which helps make this monument special to me and many who were here in 2001 when the attack happened. Best regards,
Yes Alexeyev, I'd agree that there are elements of art that appeal on that basis.
Excellent photo! LIKE!
I'm glad that you like this one Nadia. Thanks for stopping by again.
zurab tsereteli georgian not russian architect
Thank you for pointing that out. His connection to Georgia is not as well publicized as his "Russian" connection, so I'm glad to be able to record this fact accurately.
Original picture! like №5!!! Greetings, Buts_YV.
Thank you Buts_YV, it was a very lucky capture, but I'm proud of it anyway.
