You not only have twin lighttowers at your place, but twin churchtowers as well!

Love this one kamaly beautiful soft mauvy tones and the patterns in the water are great. Dianne

LOL, Norrel - I hadn't noticed that. And I think that's another not quite so showy church to the left, too.

Thanks dianne ! I'd gotten a lot of shots before this one, but after the wake from a passing boat sent these ripples across the view, just had to take twenty or thirty more shots, lol. It was nice to be able to get a pinky-purple sunset here - seems usually they're very orange.

Very nice, kamaly, love the 'ripple effect'.

kamalyn on April 27, 2009

Thanks Guy - It was Raspberry Ripple!

Quite a toasty day, especially for April. So it was pretty nice that the harbor turned to ice cream, LOL.

Good night, Massachusetts. (How do you people ever learn to spell that mess of a name?) Very nice, kamaly. OK, you've done your duty, you are excused from being man-handled by the tourists for the rest of the season. Thank you for the yeoman-like effort.

kamalyn on April 29, 2009

Thank-you for all that, not1word. I'm relieved to be relieved of further responsibilities!

And as for the name, well, compared to one of our lakes, "Massachusetts" is a snap !

not1word on April 29, 2009

I heard an NPR story about that, and how it was misspelled on a couple of signs. E for an O sorta things. I'll fish on my side.

kamalyn on April 30, 2009

Yes, it was shocking. How could anyone have overlooked that 'o' where a 'u' belongs, and especially the 'h' that should have been an 'n' ! LOL, both of my shots got 50 views in a few days when the story came out, though.

Definitely deserves my vote. D.

kamalyn on May 1, 2009

Thanks for that Dianne! So this must be one of the ones I entered, lol. So funny they don't provide any way for us to know which of our own shots might have been entered - and so it's only when people we know say that that we can know! Happy May Day (well, hope it was there in Oz.)

diannemcd on May 1, 2009

I know what you mean, I never know if or what I have entered, I usually get H to check for me. D

hi Kamaly

I want to apologize for the use of the comments I made, I have absolutely no intention to bother you or anyone else. I have not paid attention to the fact that often comment on my page can be considered spam. From now on will be more careful with this sort of thing, just wanted to share my work with the community of panoramio. Nothing more, had no other intention. Just to apologize again for having trouble with my comments, and I hope you do not have in mind and we can continue to enjoy another of our photos. Finally, I hope you know forgive my low level of English, and thank you very much for pointing out my error

Greetings from Barcelona

gerard

Thanks Gerard - I didn't think you realized how it was coming across, which I why I let you know about it. All of the links with contest advertising pasted on our photos have just really made things like that a sensitive issue on the site. It would be nice if they could reconfigure the pages to make it easier to post general information without popping everything to the top of everyone's page. Or to be able to just put things like your other page link on your main page, instead of having to hide it in the 'profile' link that's so rarely seen. But again - thanks for letting me know. Cheers.

Beautiful colors and those ripples lead the eye right in, just gorgeous.

kamalyn on May 18, 2009
