I love this one, with so many different colours in the sky, and mountains. D
breathtakingly beautiful, Helen. I see you've uploaded 52 photos. I'm in for a treat and might I say... job well done! (good luck on the slow mapping.)
Thanks **D* and Jean this sunset was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. I added a little bit of Picasa saturation on this because I uploaded it yesterday and then removed it because the colour looked different on Panoramio. The other one taken at the same time uploaded OK and hasn't had a touch up. Without a tripod it was a challenge and I haven't been able to do it justice
Jean - I was going to write that I had just completed a jeangregoryevans upload and there you were!!! Mapping drove me nuts.
Cheers to you both. Helen
'52 new photos by Helen Stalder'??? Wow! You're going to use up all my Pano. time! Just this one alone is worth spending a good long time gazing at. Nice!!
Hi k a quick log on to try and finish the accursed snail pace mapping. I thought I would put on a little travelogue of our high country, because it is so different to the much higher "real" Alps. The have had two nights of snow already so these vistas will have altered already!! Cheers H
I love this one. It reminds me of desert scenes with dunes stretching in to infinity. Quite the most stunning sunset I've seen.
Well thank you mimsy - I've never seen a mauve/orange sunset or vertical sun rays radiating across the landscape like this one. (I can just see them here) At least it's a reminder. And it was a little bit of tint, not saturation!! Cheers H
Amazing colours and landscape , wonderful! Regards from Czech, Viktor * YS *

This is an instant classic, Helen, with both fading layers of mountains echoed in the clouds. Excellent work!
.....I would like to see what Guy or kamaly could have done here, it was a pretty special sight...
