Great photo! What depth is this at?

elenov on May 10, 2009

It was about 5 meters depth. In the area there are a lot of wrecks and some, like this, are accessible with simple snorkeling. Thanks for your interest.

that's great, Majuro looks really beautiful, how do you get there?

elenov on May 10, 2009

Majuro is not tourist site, with all the best and worst it means. If you are a fisher, a diver and if you don't like having many people around the Marshall island are very beautiful! Majuro is not the best, but it is a good start point to visit the undersea word and the other atoll (Arno and Likiep are fantastic). The only way to get there is from Guam Island or from Hawaii, depending where you live.

It looks like the Maldives but without all the resorts. Are the waters dangerous? Are there many big sharks?

elenov on May 11, 2009

It's a little bit different from Maldives, no resorts and better reef, it seems to be in a aquarium! With my experience there aren't dangerous waters but I'm not sure about it. I saw a lot of baby and middle shark, not too big but I stay all the time into the atoll. I think that in open water you can find very big.

What date exactly did you take the Enedrik Island photos?

elenov on June 22, 2009

This photo didn't take in Enedrik Island but in Majuro atoll. It was 2 years ago.
