Wow! It is so hard to look at this picture. My father was stationed at March AFB from 1976 to 1978 and we lived on base housing. This is the neighborhood I lived and played in.

I used to live on McCoy ave from 1984-1992. My dad retired an we moved back to Hawaii. Does anyone know if they really flattened all the houses? I'm planning on visiting this May to see my old school Arnold Heights and possibly see my old house. If anyone sees this who graduated from High school in 1998, and is around the same age, i'd like to keep in touch. Great pics and a lot of memories...

If anyone has seen the area recently, please let me know... kawikas64@hotmail.com

Thanks, Jared Sham

I lived on the corner of jennings and haan ave back in about 1965-1970.I went to arnold heights elementary school.I was in kindergarden in 67' mrs Thompson class.1st and 2nd grades I had mrs Hardenbrook. I Have nothing but great memeries living there. In 1970 my father retired and we moved up to the Sacramento area, right outside of Mather AFB. Its sad to see that place go.

I lived here from 75 to 78. I was in Miss Ward's class. It's kind of strange to see pictures of this neighborhood looking like a ghost town.

Well, well. I lived on Van Nostrand Street from 1953 to 1958. Planted all the cacti that might still be at Arnold Heights Elementary. We used to hike out to the "black tank" and catch horned toads. Boy Scout troop best in Southern California. Anybody out there remember me? Loved the place. Always thought I'd go back to Riverside, but never did. Gary B.
