Hello Asbjørn, I'm searching for more information of Trollporten, but nothing on the whole internet, so it's an unique photo!! I used to do my holiday by car, then I make a walk and then I go back to my car. Is Trollporten possible in this way, or is it a walk for more days? Note: I'm a walker and not a hiker! Do I need to take road no.70 or the road called "Hoåsvegen"? Would you be so nice to explain how do I get to Trollporten and how long the walk takes?
Hoping hearing from you, and all the best, Evert

Hello walkingguy! I can try to give you some information about this trip. First, it is not a quite easy trip, and I think you will need two days. You will also need some climbing skill/experience. In any case I will advice you to contact/use a local guide. Do not take the trip alone unless you are an experienced climber. You can take road 70 to position: 62 46 09.03 8 31 57.54 and use the local road to Nerdal. From there it is about an hour walk to Innerdal. Here you can get further information of the trip to Trollporten. If you want to see more photos from my trip, look here On this page, select menu /links: Fellesturer - Turreferat - 2002 Skarfjell, and you will find 15 photos from the trip. Part of the route is marked on one of the photos, but the most difficult part is down from the Trollporten to Giklingdalen.
Hope this was to some help for you, and good luck!
Greetings from Asbjørn

Hello Asbjørn, Thank you very very much for the info. But I'm only a walkingguy... I've been on your Preikestolen and your Gaustatoppen: I think that's my top.
I thought it was nice to tell about Trollporten on my site http://home.12move.nl/~sh637348/ , but now I see that Trollporten is not for me and those without climbing skill/experience: unfortunately this trip is to specialized.
I'm very impressed of your trips and photo's. Wishing you all the best, greetings from Evert - the Netherlands

You can see on my site, that if I know the name of the photographer, he or she is mentioned. The photos on my site are clickable too: they are linked to the site of the publisher. I am interested in your photo http://mw2.google.com/mw-panoramio/photos/medium/2178513.jpg. Is it a problem to you that your photo has been published on http://onzeautovakantiesinnoorwegen.nl/deel_2_mr.html ? Hopefully I hear from you, Best regards, Evert (walkingguy) from the Netherlands. http://onzeautovakantiesinnoorwegen.nl/

Hi Evert! I have taken a look at your webside, and I have no problem with that my photo was published in this way. I appreciate however your asking for permission to use it. Your website is interesting, I think you have put in a lot of work to make it. And even if I do not understand Dutch very vell, I got most of it.
Greetings, Asbjørn :)
