I was very lucky with this butterfly, it had newly emerged from its cocoon. It takes them around three to three and half hours for their wings to dry before they can fly. You might be interested to see the caterpillar Here of this Monarch butterfly. Then the next stage Here and then the final stage Here Thanks for stopping by David. Another great experience for us all as we watched it emerge from its cocoon. Some of the things we see around here have been very educational for us all and we have been very lucky to witness some of mother natures miracles.
